Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife: The perfect winter retreat
As a last-minute pre-Christmas get away, my boyfriend and I decided to jet off to Tenerife for a week. The last few months have been hectic as hell, what with moving house, work and all of the festive events we were more than ready for a flop and drop holiday with plenty of sunshine. The Canary Islands are well known for having fabulous weather year-round, and so many of our family and friends had raved about Tenerife, so it was a no-brainer when we were deciding where to book for our winter sun break.
Epic Irish soda bread with cheese and herbs
With St Patrick’s day just a week away, and sadly many of the Paddy’s Day parades and events now cancelled, I thought I’d share with you a my favourite Irish recipes for you to try at home. This Irish soda bread with cheese and herbs is so simple and quick, because unlike most breads it doesn’t require any kneading or proving time, you just mix it together and bung it in the oven.
The ultimate 24 hr Edinburgh itinerary: eat, sleep, whisky, repeat
As well as staying in one of the most fabulous Hotels in Edinburgh my itinerary included eating at some of the hottest additions to the local foodie scene, drinking plenty of whisky (maybe a bit too much, ha!) all while seeing the best bits of this ancient city. So, if you’re visiting soon and looking for an Edinburgh itinerary that maximises your time there, look no further!
Seeing photos of delicious looking dishes and reading about tasty cuisine often prompts me to book travel. It’s years since I’ve been to Hungary.
